  2. Click on Advance, on the Security tab

Windows 8.1

First, take control/ownership of the file

  1. Select the folder for taking ownership of and select Share.
  2. Go to Advanced Security > Change > Advanced > Find Now.

Grant Full Control

  1. Select your folder and then the Share option.
  2. Go to the Advanced Security option> Add > Select a principal.
