  3. Again look for the “Intuit” folder and double-click on it and then find “QuickBooks” folder > then “Company Files” folder. Find here file with“.qbw” extension. Here only one file place with this extension.
  4. After finding the “.qbw” file, double-click on it and choose the option you want from the sub-menu, if required. Or for future reference note down the directory path on a piece of paper.
  5. Now, repeat step 1, but this time choose “Don’t show hidden files, folders, and drives” below the Advanced settings. Choose “OK” to save all the changes.

Method 2: Find Via QuickBooks

  • Open QuickBooks icon your computer’s Desktop and go to the “Start,” menu and select “All Programs” and then select the “QuickBooks” folder. Double-click the “QuickBooks” icon in the folder
  • On the QuickBooks startup screen, find and double-click the name of your company’s file. For launching Product Information press and hold the “Ctrl” key and press “1”.
  • After look for the “File Information” option for the directory path containing your QuickBooks “.qbw” file. Also for the future reference note down the directory path on a piece of paper for future reference. After close the QuickBooks.
