Solution 1: Run the Reboot.bat File

  • Now, here you need to rename the old name by changing it to the folder name as DownloadQBxx.OLD. like, DownlodQB20.OLD.
  • After renaming the folder, open your QuickBooks again.

Solution 5: Uninstall & Reinstall QuickBooks in Selective Startup

Important: When you uninstall your QuickBooks Desktop. Make sure to note down the product information like License Number and Product Number. You can also get this information just by pressing the F2 key or press and hold the Ctrl+1 key on QuickBooks.

  • First, open the run box, to open run box press and hold Windows+R keys together from the keyboard 
  • Next, in the run box, enter MSCONFIG and then click on OK
  • On the current window open on your screen, look for General tab and click on it, next, click on Selective startup and make sure that the Load startup items option is unmarked, if already marked, make it unmarked.
  • Now, click on OK
  • If pop-ups, then click on Restart
  • Next, you need to uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Desktop

Solution 6: Switch back to the Normal Startup Mode

  • First, open the run box, to open run box press and hold Windows+R keys together from the keyboard 
  • Next, in the run box, enter MSCONFIG and then click on OK
  • Look for the Normal Startup and click on it.
  • Next, click on Apply and later click on OK
  • You need to restart your computer to save all the changes.

Solution 7: Install Digital Signature Certificate

  • Follow the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks XX. XX shows you the QuickBooks version which you are currently using
