QuickBooks Desktop fields display black instead of white?

After using QuickBooks Desktop for some time, some of the fields display black.please help me for abort this problem.

There can be more than one solution for this problem. follow given steps:

1.Restart QuickBooks Desktop.

You will also need to make sure that the QBW32.exe QuickBooks Desktop process is not still running in the background by checking the Windows Task Manager.

a. Click the Windows Start button to bring up the Start menu.

b. Type taskmgr and press Enter. This will open the Windows Task Manager.

c. Click the Processes tab to display the processes currently running on your computer. In Windows 10: If you do not have tabs, click the arrow at the bottom of the window that says More Details.

d. Find a process named QuickBooks (32 bit) or QBW32.exe.

  • If you find it, click it and then click the End Process or End Task button at the bottom of the window
  • If you do not find any instances of QBW32.exe or QuickBooks (32 bit), then all instances of QuickBooks have been closed.

If the issue still occurs, then try the next steps.

2.Reboot your computer

3.Run reboot.bat to re-register QuickBooks program files.

4.Update your video card drivers to the latest release.

5.Change your Windows theme to Basic:

  1. Right-click your desktop and select Personalize
  2. Choose one of the Windows Basic Themes.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Open QuickBooks and work in your file normally to see if the issue comes back.

6.Edit the QBW.ini file.

If error persists, you should contact Customer Support for QuickBooks.

Intuit recommends to more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.

  1. Restart QuickBooks Desktop.

For Solving this issue Follow the instructions given below:

  1. Restart QuickBooks Desktop:  First, check the windows task manager to make sure that QBW32.exe QuickBooks Desktop is not open in the background before restart QB Desktop.
    • Click the Windows Start button
    • Type task manager in Window search bar and press Enter. This will open the Windows Task Manager.
    • Now Click on Processes tab to see the running process on your computer. In Windows 10: If you do not have tabs, click the arrow at the bottom of the window that says More Details.
    • Now Search the process QuickBooks (32 bit) or QBW32.exe to close it.
      • When you find it, click the End Process /End Task button.
      • If you do not find any instances of QBW32.exe or QuickBooks (32 bit), it means that it already has been closed.
      • If the issue still occurs, then try the next steps.
  2. Reboot your computer
  3. Run reboot.bat to re-register QuickBooks program files.
  4. Update your video card drivers to the latest release.
    • Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command.
    • Type dxdiag and press Enter.
    • Click on Display 1 and take a note of what the Manufacturer/Model is.
    • You will have either nVidia, ATI (Radeon), or Intel.
    • Go to your graphics card manufacturer’s website to download the necessary updates.
      • If you have nVidia: nVidia’s driver update page
      • If you have ATI: ATI’s driver update page
      • If you have Intel: Windows Update page
  5. Change your Windows theme to Basic:
    • Right-click your desktop and select Personalize
    • Choose one of the Windows Basic Themes.
    • Restart your computer.
    • And Open QuickBooks again and check if QB work in your file normally or to see if the issue comes back.
  6. Edit the QBW.ini file:
    1. Close QuickBooks.
    2. Press the Windows button and type (or copy and paste) the correct file path below for your version of QuickBooks and press Enter:
      • QuickBooks 2018: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2018\QBW.ini
      • Enterprise Solutions 18.0: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 18.0\QBW.ini
      • QuickBooks 2017: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2017\QBW.ini
      • Enterprise Solutions 17.0: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 17.0\QBW.ini
      • QuickBooks 2016: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2016\QBW.ini
      • Enterprise Solutions 16.0: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 16.0\QBW.ini
      • QuickBooks 2015: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2015\QBW.ini
      • Enterprise Solutions 15.0: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 15.0\QBW.ini
      • After that Go to the end of the file and copy and paste the given taxt:
        • [COLORS]
        • Classic=0
    3. Save the QBW.ini file.
    4. Open QuickBooks and try working in QuickBooks to see if the issue returns.
