How do I export my QBOE data for turbo tax ?

Is this actually false; can QBO Essentials export a file that Turbo Tax online can use (or, conversely, can Turbo Tax online import data directly from QBO Essentials)?
If it is true, why in the world would Intuit create a really pretty awesome online version of QuickBooks, which doesn’t have any integration with their tax products

Hi Donovan!

Believe me we cannot wait for the time that QuickBooks Online can integrate with Turbo Tax. Don’t worry though because with the new interface coming out, all of Intuit programs along with 3rd party applications will soon have seamless integration.

In the meantime let me give you a link to a free QuickBooks desktop trial so you can send your data to it first before you go to Turbo Tax and a link to instructions to export.

2012 Trial:

Now in your instance, the instructions will be slightly different. You will go to the gear icon then to Export Data. Follow the onscreen instructions from there. The guide basically has the same info but with the New QuickBooks Online, the navigation is different.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions on this!
